LV= appoints head of distribution for retirement solutions business

LV= has appointed Steve Lewis as head of distribution for its retirement solutions business.

Lewis joins the insurer from The Retirement Partnership which he founded in 2008.

He will report into the managing director of retirement solutions, John Perks, and will have overall responsibility for the sale of LV=’s retirement solutions products from November 2011.

Lewis is a chartered insurer with over two decades in the financial services industry. Prior to LV=, he worked for AEGON and Prudential.
