Temporary replacement appointed

Andrew Haigh is to step down as chief executive of Engage Mutual after more than 10 years in the role.

He will leave the organisation at the end of January 2013, and finance and operations director Peter Burrows will assume his responsibilities on an interim basis until a permanent successor is appointed.

Chairman David Robinson is overseeing the transition.

Haigh (pictured) said: “Having worked with the board to set the society on course for the next five years and beyond, I have decided that now is a natural and appropriate time for me to step aside.”
